XACTstep 5.2.0 is shipped with Cadence releases 9404 through 9504 only


Problem Description:
Several years ago, starting with the 9404 release, Cadence and Xilinx put
together a cross-licensing agreement that allowed both Cadence and Xilinx to
sell some of each other's software through either company's sales channel.

Through this agreement, Cadence was allowed to ship Xilinx core tool software
on their release CDs.  Xilinx, on the other hand, was allowed to resell
licenses for the Cadence/Xilinx interface software.  When shipped on the
Cadence CD, the Xilinx core tools were located in the $CDS/tools/pic/xilcore.

This arrangement ended with 9504, the last Cadence release to ship with
Xilinx software.


Solution 1:

The 9504 release shipped with XACT 5.2.0.
