If the Mentor PM is not installed and you are running a Mentor EDIF design, EDIF
2NGD does not filter properties correctly. Consequently, erroneous properties li
ke LOC=PXX get passed on, and the mapper subsequently fails.


Solution 1:

As a workaround, make sure you have the Mentor personality
module installed before running any Foundry tools.
