General Description:
Running xmake on a Solaris 2.5 machine may cause this error:

l.s01.1:  /usr/xilinx/bin/sparc/xsifix: fatal: relocation error: symbol not foun
d:: referenced in /usr/xilinx/bin/xsifix
killed
unable to add libver syn2xnf failed.

This is caused by using a stripped down version of Solaris that is missing some
of the link libraries.


Solution 1:

Use a Full installation of the Solaris Operating System.
