XC7336: Programming gives product ID error


Problem Description:
When programming an XC7336, the programmer may return an error
saying that the Product ID is incorrect for the device
selected.


Solution 1:

Be sure that you have the most up-to-date programming
algorithm for the programmer you are using.

For the HW-130 programmer, the latest algorithm is available
on the Xilinx FTP site at:

(Xilinx File ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/programmer/hw130.zip)

or, for Windows:

16 bit:
(Xilinx File ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/programmer/hw130w16.zip)

32 bit:
(Xilinx File ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/programmer/hw130w32.zip)

For other 3rd party programmers, please contact the programmer
vendor to receive the latest algorithm.
