XNF Specification: What is difference between T and B direction in an
EXT record?

Problem Description:
Keywords: pin direction bidirectional tristate three-state xnf
specification

Urgency: standard

General Description:

What is difference between T and B direction in an EXT record?

Solution 1:

If you are looking at the output of XNFPREP (which actually
traces the paths to the I/O for you and makes any needed
corrections to pin directions), the pin directions in the .XTF
can be interpreted as follows:

EXT, T ==> tristatable output, no input path

EXT, B ==> tristatable bidirectional output (pin does have an
	    input path
