Xilinx has been shipping Workview Office to their Viewlogic customers for a
few months now, and it has been discovered that some of the shipments of Workvie
w
Office 7.2/7.1.2 have included CDs with incorrect data.  The bad CDs are
labeled as "Workview Office 7.2" but actually contain the files found on the
"Libraries" CD, which is included with Viewlogic shipments of Workview
Office, but is not being shipped by Xilinx.

We have seen that all of the bad CDs are shipped in envelopes instead of
jewel cases, and these CDs have been sent mainly to Universities.

You can confirm the fact that you have a bad CD if the install program,
CDINSTAL.EXE, is not found at the root level of the CD.


Solution 1:

We are currently checking our CD production to fix this problem.  If you find
that you have one of these incorrect CDs, please contact Xilinx Customer
Service at 1-800-624-4782, and we will send a verified Workview Office 7.2
CD to you as soon as they become available.
