There is a bug in the M1 NT Pre-Release tools that causes programs like TRCE
and PAR to run very slowly (on Windows NT) or give a Memory Allocation error
(on Windows 95).  This is most commonly seen while using the XC4000XL devices.


Solution 1:

A patch is available on the Xilinx FTP site at:
ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/M1.2_alliance_pr

The name of the zip file in the FTP area is BASUT_NT.ZIP and contains a single
file:  LIBBASUT.DLL

This file will go in the XILINX\BIN\NT directory, replacing the existing file.
