Record #2190
Product Family: Software
Product Line: FPGA Core
Problem Title:
XDELAY 5.2.1: Doesn't IGNORE the path specify by the TIMESPEC IGNORE
attribute
Problem Description:
Keywords: xdelay, ignore, timespec
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
XDELAY doesn't ignore the path specified by TIMESPEC IGNORE attribute,
but PPR does ignore them.
Solution 1:
XDELAY reads the LCA file, but the LCA file does not contain any of the
IGNORE attributes. The IGNORE attributes are only contained in the XNF file.
You can use the option -ignorenet in XDELAY to specify which nets to ignore.
You can also use the CLB_Disable_SR_Q option to disable paths through
CLB flip-flop Asynchronous Set or Reset inputs. You can refer to chapter 1
of Development System Reference Guide, Volume 3 for additional documentation on
XDELAY. You can refer to Development System Reference Guide, Volume 1 for
additional information on TIMESPEC.
