When invoking the JTAG program under M1.2.11, after choosing
Output->Cable Setup
Select Parallel port and click OK.

The program will come back:
Communications with the cable could not be established.
Please check the cable connections anf cable power source.

Cable is powered up properly and connections are all good.


Solution 1:

M1.2.11 JTAG program does not support manual re-connection currently.  The
moment the JTAG program is invoked, it will established communications with
parallel cable automaticly(make sure serial XCHECKER cable is disconnected).
User can verify this by looking at the lower right hand corner of the JTAG
window.  It will say 'PARALLEL' 'LPT1' or 'LPT2'.

If the JTAG program is still unable to establish communication with cable and
Operating System is Windows NT.  Make sure it has the driver BASJDRV installed
and running.
Under
START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->Devices
BASJDRV should be listed and started.  If not, re-install the M1 tool with the
LAB MACHINE setup.  Answer 'YES' when the installation program prompt for the
installation of the drivers.
