General Description:
When running Design Manager if the design has a design.UCF in the same
directory as the design input file with the same name, then the UCF file
will automatically read during Translation, even if the UCF is not
specified in the Options dialog box.


Solution 1:

If a design.UCF exists in the directory where the input design file
(design.edn, design.edf, design.xnf) exists, then the Design Manager
will automatically read the UCF file in during the Translate process of
Implementation. The design.ucf will not be shown in the Implement Options
dialog box unless specified, but will still be read in.

If a UCF is not wanted when Implementing, then the design.UCF must be
renamed to something else.

If a different UCF is needed to be used, then the new.UCF can be specified
in the Options dialog box. Specifying the new.UCF will override the
automatic reading of the design.UCF.
