M1.2-WS: Why doesn't the M1 license.dat list the xc9500 in the Components section?

Record #2388

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Merged Core

Problem Title:
M1.2-WS: Why doesn't the M1 license.dat list the xc9500 in the
Components section?

Problem Description:
Keywords: license, xc9500

Urgency: Standard

General Description:

The component section of the license.dat file for M1.2 shows xc3000D
xc4000X xc5200X, but no xc9500. This is because the Personality
Module (PM) for xc9500 is not licensed. The 9500 software only checks
out an M1 system license, it does not require sperate licensing.

Solution 1:

If there exists any M1 license available, the M1.2 Pre-release is
licensed for 9500 designs.
