Problem Description:

General Description:

Map may fail with abnormal termination when run from the
Design Manager on both SunOS and Win95.  This failure has been
seen when targeting 4000XL devices.


Solution 1:

Workaround:  Run MAP from the command line instead
of doing it within the Design manager.

The segmentation fault may be caused by the use of purely
numerical net or block names in the design.  The workaround is
to run Map from commandline:

    map -p <part_type> design

An M1 patch will be made available for the M1.3 release.

Solution 2:

The other workaround would be to rename the nets with names
that include alphabetic characters.
