General Description:

A "Cannot reconfigure programmer" error means that the
algorithm cannot be downloaded to the programmer for some
reason.



Solution 1:


Possible reasons include:

1. A UART (serial port) on the programmer or PC which works
only intermittently.  If this is the case, you should
step down the BAUD rate of the programmer (under the Options,
Communications menu) before selecting a device.

2. The algorithm files may be missing from the HW130W
directory.  If he uses the XC95216 device, the XC9XXX.LCF and
X95216.ALG files are needed to select the device (these files
are included in the ftp archive file).

If the customer cannot correctly select the device, no other
operations should be attempted since nothing will work.
