<x4xxb> does not exist
Problem Description:
Keywords: x4xxb, ngdbuild, FATAL_ERROR, dll
Urgency: Standard
message is seen :
FATAL_ERROR:baspm:baspmdlm.c:99:1.17 - dll library <x4xxb> does not exist.
Process will terminate. Please call Xilinx support.
The typical cause of this error is the fact that the file :
$XILINX/xc4000ex/bin/<platform>/libx4xxb.so.1.0
is missing. A possible cause of this is when during the
software installation, that particular device family was not
selected for the computer platform or operating system you are
currently using.
Solution 1:
You must re-install the software being sure to select the
device you are targeting and the operating system you are
currently using. After installation double check to see that
the above file was placed in you $XILINX directory tree.
