General Description:
When invoking Viewdraw from Workview Office, you may receive the following
error:

ERROR: vipc -e -1347 unable to connect to vnsd and vipc init()

This error may be seen if you have installed Workview Office
over an older version of the software without uninstalling
the old version first.	It can also be caused by a WDIR path
which is set incorrectly.


Solution 1:

This error message is usually benign, and if it allows you to continue with
schematic entry, then there should not be any problem using the tool.
However, if you want to get rid of this error, you should check the correct
setting of the WDIR variable and also, try uninstalling the current version
of the Workview Office software, then re-install the new version.

The correct setting for WDIR looks something like this:
WDIR=c:\WVOffice\Standard

For Windows 3.11 and Windows 95, WDIR setting is in your Autoexec.bat file.

For Windowns NT, WDIR setting is done thourgh Start->Settings->Control Panel,
then double click on System icon, then select Environment tab.
