Problem description:
Using symbol wizard to create a new symbol will give the following error:
A Dr. Watson error window comes up with a white X on a red circle.
vsec: Error 8002: unable to translate product Unknown[-1897759265].
Make sure you are accessing the correct vseccode.vmb file.

Note : the number in the bracket might vary.


Solution 1:

Do not use the symbol wizard.
To create a new symbol, just open a new file (file->new).  In the window that
comes up, choose Symbol and enter a name; this will bring up a symbol page.
Graphically construct the symbol body using box, arch, circle, and line
commands.

Note: Do not add pin using line command, instead use Add->pin.
