Foundation F1.3, XC5200: Incorrect polarity of pins in AND2B1, etc components

Record #2984

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Aldec

Problem Title:
Foundation F1.3, XC5200: Incorrect polarity of pins in AND2B1, etc
components

Problem Description:
Keywords: polarity, wrong, netlister, XNF, bubble

Urgency: Hot

General Description:

There is a problem with the XNF netlister for the XC5200 family
in Foundation F1.3 where the polarity of the pins in the AND*B*
components is reversed. This will cause incorrect design
implementation. Note that the design will simulate properly
from the schematic because the simulation model is correct.
The problem lies in the netlister, and so the actual implemented design will not
 operate as expected.

Solution 1:

There is a patch available to fix this problem. It can be
found in the File Download area of the Xilinx Web site. It is
located in the Software Help -> Foundation area, and is called
CONV_ACS.ZIP.
