General Description:

Launching the Foundation F1.3 Project Manager
on Win95 may take 1 minute to 1.5 minute, although
the PC has plenty of processor power.
As it launches, all the processors bandwidth is taken
up by the launching, with none left for even the mouse.
After the Project Manager is started, all the programs
run at normal speed.



Solution 1:

Here are 3 possible causes:

1. The problem may arise from the Sentinel keylock driver
ver. 5.30 conflicting with some other software.
The driver ver. 5.33 could solve this problem.

2. The PC may use an "Award Modular BIOS v.4.51PG" with
a motherboard by a company called "Giga-byte".
Turning off the external (level 2) cache in the BIOS
setup can solve this problem.

3. Remove Microsoft FindFast program from the startup
menu.  FindFast logs everything you do, and PC gets
slower as the FindFast database gets larger.
