M1.3 JTAG Programmer: How to read 3rd party BSDL files

Problem Description:
Keywords: bsdl, non-xilinx, nonxilinx, 3rd party, third party

Urgency: standard

General Description:

Selecting BSDL files for non-Xilinx devices through the properties
dialog box in the JTAG Programmer does not seem to work. How
to read the third party BSDL files in to the JTAG Programmer?

Solution 1:

Third party BSDL files must be manually installed in the $XILINX/data
directory for the JTAG Programmer to be able to read them. You
can not rely on the properties dialog box.
