General Description:
Some software may use differnt version of lmgrd/flexlm for
different vendors. For some users it may not be possible to
use just one version of lmgrd/flexlm, such as using only the
latest version available.

It is possible to run seperate lmgrd's for different vendors
at the same time.

Note: The newest version of lmgrd should be compatible with
older version, hence the newest version of lmgrd should
be able to start up a license that uses an older version of
of the flexlm software.


Solution 1:

1) Verify that the port numbers in the license.dat files for
the different software uses different port numbers. By
default Xilinx uses port 2200.

2) When running lmgrd to start up the license you will have
to point to the particular version needed, by explicity
stating the entire path to lmgrd, and also point
explicity to the path to the license.dat that is being
started up.

3) Make sure that the vendor that uses the latest version of
lmgrd is first in the LM_LICENSE_FILE path.
