General Description:
During program execution the HW130 software displays the
following error message:

  Device FAILD to Verify Addr = XXXX Data = XXX

The program finally fails due to a checksum failure.


Solution 1:


There is a bug with v4.1.0 of the hw130 software.  The fix is
to obtain the 4.2.0 update or latest version from the following location on the
Xilinx ftp site:

   ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/programmer

Download the appropriate platform version of the HW130
software for your system:

DOS:	      hw130.zip
Windows 3.1:  hw130w16.zip
Windows 95:   hw130w32.zip
HP7:	      hw130_hp7_420.tar.Z
Solaris:      hw130_sol_420.tar.Z
Sun4:	      hw130_sun4_420.tar.Z
