General Description:
Long run times have been observed when running NGD2VER with
the -r option, which gives the user a hierarchical Verilog
netlist as output.  The increase in run time can be quite
high--in one case, a design with the -r option took 9 hours,
while omitting the -r option brought the run time down to 40
minutes.


Solution 1:

Omit the -r option when netlisting out your design if run
time is important to you.  Processing the design in command
line mode rather than from Design Manager may also help reduce
run time.
