XC5200: Power on delay of 4mS is too fast for power supplies


Problem Description:
The power-on delay in XC5200 is only 4 milliseconds.
Compare that to the 16 ms for any 3k/4k in non-master mode,
and the 64ms for any 3k/4k in master mode.


Unfortunately, a 4 ms power-supply rise time is an
unrealistic spec.  Power supplies are not ( always ) that fast.


Solution 1:


A good voltage monitor holding down INIT or PROG will help. That is,
keep INIT or PROG low until you can make sure VCC is within
spec.
