M1.4 Map - ERROR:baste:262 - Bad format for LOC constraint


Problem Description:
Providing a long list of pin locations in one LOC constraint
can result in a fatal error during mapping due to an artificial
size limitation:

  ERROR:baste:262 - Bad format for LOC constraint

This problem has been fixed and a patch is available.




Solution 1:

This issue is fixed by the latest M1.4 Core Tools patch
which is available in the XILINX Download Area:
