General Description:

JTAG Programmer has a problem establishing communications using
the serial port on the HP-UX operating system. The GUI times
out waiting for the port to respond.


Solution 1:

Set the following environment variable in the shell before you
invoke the JTAG Programmer.

setenv XDBGJTAGWAITTIME 20

This will fix the problem with the timeout.
