When you are compiling CPLD design through M1.3/M1.4 software, you may get an er
ror message "Done: Failed with exit code: 002"
and no other explanation of the problem.




Solution 1:

You may get this error if your design file name consists of  special characters
such as "#" and "$".  It is recommended to use Alphanumeric and "-","_" for file
 names.
