Problem Title:
M1.4 MAP:ERROR:x4kma:371 - IBUF symbol "symbol_name" is unable to
combine with ...



Problem Description:
CLB range constraints can be applied to hierarchies and map
is supposed to apply these constraints only to logic that will
be mapped into CLBs. Instead map is incorrectly applying the
constaints to all logic. This can results in errors if I/O
symbols are inside the hierarchy.

ERROR:x4kma:371 - IBUF symbol "HOSTBUS/HSTIO/$1I2709" (output
signal=HOSTBUS/HSTIO/$1N2710) is unable to combine with I/O    HOSTBUS/HSTIO/EXT
_HSTDAT7.  The symbols have incompatible LOC attributes.

ERROR:x4kma:175 - IBUF symbol "HOSTBUS/HSTIO/$1I2709" (output  signal=HOSTBUS/HS
TIO/$1N2710) cannot be placed into IOB
"HOSTBUS/HSTIO/EXT_HSTDAT7".  You may be attempting to put more resources into t
his IOB than it can support.  Please see the Xilinx Programmable Logic Data Book
 for information on the IOB structure of the target device.

FATAL_ERROR:baste:basteconst.c:438:1.26 - Shouldn't be combining LOCs with diffe
rent types.  Process will terminate.  Please call Xilinx support.


Solution 1:

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the M1.5 release. Meanwhile,
the problem can be worked around by moving all I/O symbols outside
of hierarchies that have CLB range constraints applied to them.
