DESCRIPTION: Sometimes, it's necessary to download from another PC which doesn't
have the complete M1.3 installation. How (if possible) can you use the JTAG pro
grammer to download to a cpld? There are no files on the web to do this.
Solution 1:
From M1.3, use the "Core Technology CD." When you come across the "Select Type o
f Installation," select "Lab Machine Installation." This installation allows you
to run the JTAG programmer, PROM file formatter, shared DLLs, and Hardware debu
gger and only takes up to 10MB.
Solution 2:
For M1.4, use the "Design Implementation Tools" CD. For the type of installation
, select "Lab Machine Installation." This will take up 11MB and also consists of
the JTAG programmer, PROM file formatter, shared DLLs, and the Hardware Debugge
r.
