Problem Title:
fatal error in map on a 4052xl design.
Problem Description:
4052xl PG411-1, in Map1.3.7, with all patches.
gets error "FATAL_ERROR:x4kma:x4kmamerge.c:1384:1.120.10.4 - Tried to move a sig
nal to an
occupied pin on comp ICORE/ICMCK/cmch/datapath/gt_337/u28/S0/SUB/CY4_0 (984).
Process will terminate. Please call Xilinx support."
in MAP1.4.12 with all patches,
gets a message "PROGRAM ABNORMALLY TERMINATED" after optimizing......
in MAP1.5.11.
gets error "FATAL_ERROR:x4kma:x4kmamerge.c:2650:1.150 - Too many signals to move
and not
enough slots on comp ICORE/ICMCK/ckch/datapath/ctrmodd/lt_17/u10/S0/SUB/CY4_4
(1966). Process will terminate. Please call Xilinx support."
THe customer would like to have an answer as soon as possible. His production li
ne is down. He's on SunOS4.1.4. and script of command lines.
I ran the design on Solaris.
Solution 1:
This problem is fixed in the latest M1.4 Core Tools Patch available
on the Xilinx Download Area:
