Problem Title:
M1.4 Hitop - hitop error: Error:rg119


Problem Description:
Hitop may fail on designs with lots of heirarchy that have
long signal and instance names. The error is:

  hitop error: Error:rg119




Solution 1:

A fix is available on the Xilinx download area that truncates
signals to 80 characters. A long term fix that requires no
truncation is planned for M2.1 (release after M1.5).
