General Description:
If a design does not succeed in passing through PAR (if the
block delays are too long for your timing constraints, for
instance), then invoking the Timing Analyzer from Design Manager
to determine failing paths returns the following text box:

No default physical constraints file "...map.pcf" was found.


Solution 1:

Due to the fact that <Design Name>.ncd does not exist yet
(PAR failed), the Timing Analyzer used map.ncd as the design
file.  It then looks for map.pcf instead of <Design Name>.pcf
Consequently no timing constraints are loaded into the Timing
Analyzer.

Choose OK then
File->
Open Physical Constraints->
<Design Name>.pcf
