General Description:

Running "ngd2edif -v mentor" on a PC running Win95 or Win NT4.0
gives the following error:

ngd2edif:  version M1.4.12
Copyright (c) 1995-1997 Xilinx, Inc.  All rights reserved.
FATAL_ERROR:baspm:baspmdlm.c:99:1.18 - dll library <mtrne> does not exist.
   Process will terminate.  Please call Xilinx support.



Solution 1:

The PC version of A1.4 is missing the libmtrne.dll since Mentor is a
Unix Workstation tool, but the libmtrne.dll can be found at

http://www.xilinx.com/techdocs/htm_index/sw_mentor.htm

and click on libmtrne.zip to download the file.

The file must be placed in the $XILINX/mentor/bin/nt/
directory. If it is does not exist it must be created.

A1.5 will have this capability without patches.
