XC4000E-1: Industry's Fastest 5 Volt FPGA
The following graph summarizes comparisons between the XC4000E-1 and
competing devices. To demonstrate XC4000E-1 performance superiority, three
types of comparisons were done:
- Scaled benchmark comparison - A group
of scaleable design functions that were tested on a pin-to-pin basis in
each vendor's native design tools.
- Real world designs - Customer designs
representing a broad range of applications. These designs came from leading
systems manufacturers and PLD users.
- Datasheet comparison - Compares
maximum I/O frequency for each device based on external specifications
of pin-to-pin clock-to-out and pin-to-pin global clock setup.
