Change Description: The above part/package combinations are being
discontinued.
Reason For Change: The MQFP (Metal Quad Flat Pack) package was
originally introduced by Xilinx at the time of the release of certain XC4000
products. This package offered better thermal resistance than the then
available PQFP (Plastic Quad Flat Pack) options. Since that time Xilinx
has made these same parts available in the HQFP (thermally enhanced Quad
Flat Pack) package. The HQFP package offers better thermal resistance (see
table below) than the MQFP package, while offering a footprint that is
fully compatible.
