Subject: Product Discontinuance Notification (PDN97003) -- Withdrawal of Commercial and Industrial XC3000-70 Speed Grades, all packages (note: Xilinx Military Products are Not Affected).
Products Affected: All XC3000-70 commercial and industrial grade products, all package combinations (excluding military).
Change Description: Product families XC3000-100 in commercial and industrial grades are replacing all XC3000-70 product families, as the current production of XC3000-100 meets all the data sheet parameters of the XC3000-70.
Reason For Change: To provide to our customers a simplification of Xilinx speedgrade offerings
Action Requires: None, replacement product families XC3000-100 are form, fit and functionally compatible with these products and meet or exceed all of the applicable specifications. Customers with questions concerning the compatibility of XC3000-100 products with their existing applications should contact their Xilinx representative.
Key Dates:
Final XC3000-70 orders accepted until 1/31/1998
Final XC3000-70 deliveries on or before 4/30/1998
