Problem Description:

General Description:
If you select Cable Setup from the Output menu in the JTAG
Programmer software GUI, it will not be able to find the
connected cable, and will actually lose the connection of the
cable, even though connection may have already been
established.
Solution 1:
Return the JTAG Programmer to AUTO connect mode by selecting
Output->Reset Cable. You should now see the cable type shown
in the lower-right corner of the GUI.
