General Description:
The following errors may be seen when starting up Coregen in a pre-existing CORE Generator project a
fter installing the C_IP2.zip IP update:
ERROR: Unable to find library for core Sine-Cosine_Look-Up_Table|xilinx|xc4000_all|1.0.
ERROR: Could not locate Project core Sine-Cosine_Look-Up_Table|xilinx|xc4000_all|1.0
CORE Generator is noting that the complete list of available cores (recorded in $XILINX/ip/resource
s.lib) no longer contains the original, 4K-only version of the Sine
Cosine Lookup Table shipped in 2.1i and listed in the CORE Generator project's
coregen.prj file.
In actuality the 4K Sine Cosine Lookup Table is still present, but is being referenced
differently in the Cores database because it has been integrated with a Virtex version
of the core.
Solution 1:
The error message should not be a cause for concern. If you wish to continue using
the original version of the Sine Cosine LUT, and/or do not need to regenerate the
Sine Cosine LUT(s) in your design, no further action is required.
However, since outside of the added Virtex support, there should be no difference
between v1_0 versions of the 4K Sine Cosine core in 2.1i Coregen and this C_IP2
release, and other bug fixes to the C_IP1 release have been added in C_IP2, it is
recommended that you update all cores to the C_IP2 versions to prevent
this error message from appearing in subsequent Coregen sessions.
To do this, perform a "Custom" update of this core only:
- Execute"Project-> Update Cores-> All to Latest".
