			Overview
			Twenty years of experience designing high speed digital circuit boards incorporating
			FPGAs and CPLDs.
			 Specialization
			Specialization in FPGA/CPLD/board level design using synchronous digital techniques
			to accomplish high performance designs with noise control and tolerance. Preferred
			design entry method is VHDL, and preferred simulation method is VHDL test benches.
			Familiar with various data communication techniques and standards. Familiar with
			various microprocessors and TI DSPs.   
			Designed programmable frame telecom multiplexers and demultiplexers using Xilinx
			XC4K-XL FPGAs to control data in and out. Implemented FIFOs, dual port RAMs (DPRAMs)
			and synchronous RAMs components using LogiBlox and internal SelectRAM features. Implemented
			state machines to control access to and from these components. Designed two PCI Initiators/Targets
			using Xilinx XC4K-XLA FPGAs. Used off-the-shelf Xilinx PCI core IP to implement both
			designs. 
			One design used core to connect PCI bus with external DPRAM and Motorola PowerPC.
			Other design connects PowerPC with graphics engine through internal DPRAMs.
