Subject: Product Change Notification (PCN96003) Obsolescence of Commercial and Military CQFP-100 ceramic packages.

Products Affected: XC3020-CQ100, XC3030-CQ100, & XC3042-CQFP100 (all speeds and temperature grades). Also SMD 5962-89948 & 5962-89713.

Change Description: The CB-100 package (with tie bar) has been in production for several years and is replacing product currently available in the CQFP-100. This change is being done to improve the quality and manufacturability of this product in customer applications. The CB100 package provides superior electrical & thermal performance. The CB-100 package is functionally compatible with the CQ-100. Qualification data is attached.

Action Required: Customers should review the enclosed drawings and their PCB layout to determine if any changes will be required to accommodate this package.
