XILINX ANNOUNCES XtremeDSP/VIRTEX-II TECHNICAL SIMULCAST 2001 Pioneering 24-city simulcast to present 600 billion MACs/s
SAN JOSE, Calif., December 19, 2000 —Xilinx,Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) announced today the XtremeDSPTM /VirtexTM-II Technical Simulcast, a half-day event to provide solutions to the fast-growing, high performance DSP market. Hosted in collaboration with The MathWorks, Inc., the event will be held at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel on January 25, 2001 and will be broadcast live via satellite to movie theaters in 24 North American cities, including Dallas, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto. Designed as a technical seminar, well over 5,000 DSP and hardware designers, system architects, and engineering managers are expected to attend the free of charge event.
