(NASDAQ: XLNX) today announced the availability of WebPACK™ ISE™, an integration of the latest releases from industry-leading, third-party partners such as Model Technology, Inc. and Visual Software Solutions, coupled with the new Xilinx® Integrated Synthesis EnvironmentTM technology. WebPACK ISE adds these tools as separate downloadable modules free of charge. StateCAD® delivers simple yet powerful state diagram entry capabilities, while HDL Bencher™ simplifies the creation of HDL testbenches for Xilinx designs. WebPACK ISE provides users a complete, HDL-centric, modular CPLD design suite.

WebPACK ISE, a CPLD-based derivative of Foundation ISE, is a collection of modular, web delivered tools that form a customizable and integrated design environment. WebPACK ISE includes the latest Project Navigator based integrated synthesis environment which utilizes updated versions of XST for VHDL and Verilog synthesis, ABEL version 7.3 and the ECS editor for a graphical HDL approach.
