or email Exemplar: license@exemplar.com to
request a license file.
What will my existing Leonardo or
Galileo license run?
Leonardo Spectrum will work with existing Galileo and
Leonardo licenses.
- If you already have a valid Galileo license then you can run Leonardo
Spectrum Level 2.
- If you have a valid Leonardo license then you can run Leonardo Spectrum
Level 3.
Can I get a temporary or eval
license to test out Leonardo Spectrum?
Yes you can. To request an evaluation license, visit the Exemplar
Web site here.
How to
setup the license for Exemplar using a dongle or the license server
Dongle Based (PC)
1. Attach the Dongle to the parallel port
on the back of the PC
3. Copy the license.dat to a directory of your choice such as
c:\flexlm\
4. Set the LM_LICENSE_FILE=c:\flexllm\license.dat
Using the license server (PC or UNIX)
Set the LM_LICENSE_FILE to point to
the port@server_name
PC users:
set
LM_LICENSE_FILE=1703@snapon
UNIX users:
setenv
LM_LICENSE_FILE 1703@snapon
If the variable is already set then you will
have to append the existing LM_LICENSE_FILE to this one:
setenv LM_LICENSE_FILE 1703@snapon:
$LM_LICENSE_FILE
Using the Default location (PC or UNIX)
You can put the license.dat in the default
location:
Windows: c:\FLEXLM\LICENSE.DAT
UNIX: $EXEMPLAR/license/license.dat
