The -d27.8 debugging switch tells sendmail to print the string passed to its internal setalias( ) routine:

Here, what is one of the items listed with the AliasFile option (AliasFile), such as /etc/mail/aliases, or implied with the service-switch file and the ServiceSwitchFile option (ServiceSwitchFile).
