Subject: Product Change Notification (PCN95003) Withdrawal of the XC1765DDD8R. (Obsolete Device)

Products Affected: XC1765DDD8R

Change Description: The above product is being withdrawn due to the availability of full military versions (XC1765DDD8B and SMD-5962-94717).

Product Change: The XC1765DDD8R was an interim device which filled the need for a high reliability military temperature part for that period of time that full B-grade and/or SMD versions of the XC1765 were not available.

Reason For Change: This product is being enhanced at the request of our customers, who have requirements for full B-grade or SMD versions of this part. Both the XC1765DDD8B and the SMD-5962-94717 are form, fit and functionally compatible with the XC1765DDD8R and utilize the same programming algorithm.

Key Dates: The last order date for the XC1765DDD8R part is 15 October, 1995 for delivery prior to 15 April, 1996.
