XILINX AND PRENTICE HALL ANNOUNCE NEWEST TEXTBOOK

IN SERIES OF DESIGN TEXTBOOKS

SAN JOSE, Calif., November 15, 1999––Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) and Prentice Hall, the premier publisher of engineering books and software for the academic market, have announced the publication of the newest member in the Prentice Hall Xilinxâ Design Series. The text, Logic and Computer Design Fundamentals, by M. Morris Mano and Charles R. Kime, is the second textbook in the series designed for student education in computer design engineering.
