SYNTAX
          _b_o_o_l_e_a_n sh_new_variable_message = false


DESCRIPTION
          When true, an informational message (CMD-041) is
          generated when a variable is defined for the first
          time.  By default this variable is set to _f_a_l_s_e.

          To determine the current value of this variable, use
          printvar sh_new_variable_message.
