Macros are constrained to the intersecting area of all the regions in which they have been assigned. The intersecting area does not currently have enough resources required for the number of macros assigned to it.
You may see this error message when assigning macros to multiple regions in a constraint editor tool or when indirectly assigning macros to regions through commands. Here are some examples of when you may encounter the Region Intersection error message:
When assigning instances on a net to a region
When assigning a net to a local clock
When using wildcards in procedures
Action
One or more of the following:
Create a larger intersecting area by resizing one or more of the intersecting regions
Unassign some of the assigned macros from one or more of the intersecting regions
