Error: Unable to export gcf constraint file from <filename>.
GCF constraints cannot be passed to PALACE.

This error appears when you attempt to export a GCF constraint file from your Designer ADB file.

This error indicates one of the following:

• Libero cannot find Designer

• The ADB file is corrupted (EDIF not found)

• The ADB file does not have any GCF constraint files

Action

Review the Designer log file to determine which of the above scenarios caused the error (right-click Designer in the Libero Flow window and select View Log file).  

If you run Designer and audit (re-import) the PALACE output GCF constraint file (top_palace.gcf), you will lose your pin constraints. The top_palace.gcf file does not include them.  See the Using PALACE with Libero topic for more information.
