New files

You can create new files from Libero. New file types include:

• Schematic

• SmartGen core

• VHDL Entity

• VHDL Package file

• Stimulus

• Stimulus HDL file

• SDC file

• Physical Design Constraint file (pdc)

• VCD (value change dump) file

• SAIF (switching activity interface format) file

To create a new file:

1. From the File menu, choose New.

2. Select the File type and type a name.

3. Click OK. The appropriate application starts. The saved file is added to your Libero project.
