Problem Description: Urgency: Standard General Description: What is an 'B', 'N', 'M' and 'R' grade parts? Solution 1: Currently available are the 'B', 'N', 'M' grade proms. Please refer to the current databook prom or QPRO sections for part availability and further details on these grades. The 'B' grade stands for Military with an operating range/processing of (-55 degrees to +125 degrees Celsius) QML certified to MIL-PRF-38535 The 'N' grade stands for Military Plastic with an operating range/processing of (-55 degrees to +125 degrees Celsius). The 'M' grade stands for Military with an operating range/processing of (-55 degrees to +125 degrees Celsius). In addition, older parts had an 'R' grade. This is a Military temperature spec part with MIL-STD-883 Level B Equivalent Processing. The main difference from a B spec part is that the wafer is produced by a non-MID-STD-883 certified wafer fab.
